Here on this side of the pond the legal/standard height limit is 13'6" or 162" (4m 11cm 5mm) or (4115mm). That truck would still be under the maximum limit.

Now, that's the lap of luxury!!!! If I ever had a truck like that, I wouldn't know what to do with it.......drive it or build my house around it and have it in the middle of my living room!

i learned on a 1974 gmc astro coe.very interesting to drive.a.k.a. the fish bowl.the windshield came down to about knee level.the stick was to the floor next to the dog house.the heat coming off the dog house was rediculous. no a/c,wouldnt have helped.you kept you hot food on the top to keep it warm as long as you were drivin.318 d.d. dont know the fuel mileage, speedo never worked and fuel was under .75cents per gallon. Then, the kw k100 w/a 400big cam cummins.that baby would ride...70/75 mph would average 4mpg.if you ran 80+ much, you would be in the 3mpg range.the areodynamics are way diff. than a hood.i would bet they would be 1-2 mpg worse than any hood in a test booth.worst memory, pedalin ltl in fla.long chained truckers wallet in r/r pocket and swingin out of truck in a hurry....chain from wallet hooks door handle on the way out and has me dangeling from the door 3ft off the ground.chain breaks[about 1 minute] i hit the pavement face first in a puddle.:biggrin_2559:the guys on the dock never had such a laugh.

Lenny, my boy! Listen to me very carefully!
I'm not gonna tell you how long ago I started to drive trucks cause you'd just turn around and call me an "old fart" or worse, an "old giz".
I'll have none of that I Shift, auto shift, this or that electronic shift......Matter of fact, I couldn't care less for any kind of electronics on a truck......but man, I'm really getting tired of being shook like a bag of potatoes in a wooden wheeled cart. Put it this way, I drove MAN F8's when they were a new thing......and you probably seen them only in pictures and junkyards.
It's gotta be some sort of truck with a cab suspension out there in 2012 that would allow an old fart like me to feel good driving in.

Some great deals with Volvo right now, I've said it before if you wanna buy a fleet of trucks Volvo makes the sensible option, cheap, high quality and very reliable ( over here anyway)
