Yea... that's what I figured, they got it from a drug dealer. Still, fuel for that thing is expensive...no reason for them needing to have a ride like that.
Schneider to ACT - yes, another ACT thread :)

Looooooong day!!!
Dropped the ld in KC last night/this morning at about 1am, deadheaded to the yard. Slept for about 5hrs and got the truck in the shop for some minor fixes. Decided to go to the office and bug some people and do laundry. Well, it just happened to be the BBQ and health/wellness fair thing today - thought it was last week.
Met a lot of people, got some great food, got my spine checked lol...and a massage. You guys should have seen the Anytime Fitness chick (I mean personal trainer) that was there. Long long hot day in KC.
Finally left the office about 1 or 2pm and went to Walmart for a few things and Best Buy for a new radio and harness - the truck is rockin now! Amazing what $150 and about 30mins can do to the sound... I have Cd/am/fm/Hd radio with a nice addition of Pandora, itunes tagging and direct iphone/ipod plug in/controller and a remote control so I don't have to reach over - probably going to velcro it to the top of steering column/wheel for easy reach.
Got a preplan for a preloaded trailer out of KC going to Denver - sweet! Going to spend a few days out there and visit some friends...hopefully the smoke isn't too bad.
FYI... I'm sure everyone saw the "flipflops" QC message - thought it was me since I was at the office in flops and shorts... BUT it wasn't! I guess someone delivered to GE and was turned around or not let in since they had flip flops on. After that msg came out, I was at the yard already and cleaning out a few things and was walking around - I had a few "older" drivers look at me like they wanted to shoot me for being comfortable...
Anyways, stopped in Salina for the night, tired as hell so going to bed....now!Last edited: Jun 27, 2012

Got unloaded at USPS last night out here in Denver, went out to dinner with some friends and going out with others for lunch today. Was going to stay an extra day but I'm all stuffed up from all the smoke in the air so decided to leave later today.
Got a preplan for delivery on Monday in Columbus, OH. Had a lot of time off this week, 40hr restart/vacation this past weekend and couple days in Denver and looks like it'll still be a pretty good week with miles - considering all the days off.
All this time off, gave me time to think and figure out how to mount a tv in the truck - think I'll put a 32" slim tv up top, covering the pass. side small window with a full motion/swivel mount - that way I can move it and watch from the bunk or drivers seat (for when I get the rotating driver seat). With the new radio installed in the truck, looks like I'll be able to hook up the tv for semi-surround sound out of the truck speakers. Figured I would have this done a couple weeks ago already since it sucks to watch netflix on 14" laptop screen all the time, but I've just been lazy. Same thing with putting up storage cabinets... -
Does ACT use traditional APUs? I'm out of patience with these POS battery-operated units Crete has gone to.
And I guess I should ask if they hire out of SC....thanks.... -
Yes they do... I got a tri-pac on my 2010.
And yes, SC is the "secondary" zone if you look at the website, so out 14-21 days but now that we have the additional broker loads we have more freight so I think you would be through the house more often. -
Sitting at a Pilot, west of Columbus OH, enjoying the weather
Got some cool iphone videos of the tornado forming but it never did... Thank you!! For a min there I thought someone hit my truck and kept hitting it, that's how windy it was.
