    No apu on usx trucks. They have bunk heaters but no ac with engine off.

    E-logs (your time) only kick in when you are moving. You can idle as much as you want (if you can get the truck to idle) and the worst that will happen is you FM will holler at you for idling too much. I had one that hollered at me for idling when it was 20 degrees and I was on a reset.

    Yes, that was when I was with USX. Now I can idle as much as I want/need to. I have an APU but it will only last about 6 hours and then I have to run the truck.
