What model trucks is Schneider issuing to teams. In a current ad I saw at my CDL training school, they have Cascadias, Volvo VNL 780s and some T2000. I really like the Volvo's especially with the Workstation sleeper interiors but do they run them with teams. I was always told you could not use the top bunk with the vehicle in motion. I would assume you could as long as the top bunk area had the proper restraint netting like the ones that no one ever uses on the bottom bunk.

Do you really want to be up top in a rollover or jackknife? Don't sleep up there with the truck in motion, its not worth your life

Not saying I was nor wanted to. I did hear a rumor there are 3 person teams out there, I believe I heard CRST was running some at one time or currently still are. Not that I have any desire to work there, but makes you wonder how they do it with 3 people in the truck.

One driver, one in jump seat, one in bunk, simple enough. (unless you like to 'cuddle' of course
)

Negative...there will be none of that.

LOW BRIDGES. Ouch, that would hurt. Some people don't pay attention to the truck height.

My team driver and I were issued a brand new Cascadia. Other than having to deal with the DEF thing and learn proper use of the regen system, it is bombtastic! It even has a system to provide AC and heat without idling the truck (but it's not an APU...it's a new system they are trying out...and it works great!).
Top bunk is off limits (for human occupation) when the truck is in motion. If you are talking about storing stuff up there...you can do that although I would use the restraint net over it while moving down the road. Never know when you might have a brake check and I'd hate to think of you being clobbered by something flying off the top bunk
