CA anti idle law

The TA in Ontario is about the money and they want to charge you to blow air into your truck.

 

Isnt everything in life about money? In fact thats what businesses are for, to offer a product that we need or want in exchange for money. You want air, they got air. Pay for it or sweat.

Glad that my truck had an APU when I was OTR... Was always snowing in my truck as it was so cold inside. Brrrr....

 

I just got a cpap machine a few days ago and now may have to change trainers because my current one smokes. have you had or heard of issues with cig smoke damaging the machine. he dosn't smoke in the truck all the time but when he does he puts the window down. thanks

 

You just gotta change the filters more often.

 

Not only change the filters, but wash the mask, cushion, and hose far more often. When I got my present truck, a heavy smoker had had it previously. I was still getting that smoky aroma in the machine for quite some time after. It's not pleasant for a non-smoker. It shouldn't damage the machine, though. The machines are pretty tough.
