Just to give you guys a update, My trainer came and picked me up sunday, and we headed out to Georgia. So far I guess im lucky cause my trainer is a really cool dude just a couple years older then I am...we have alot in common as well.
Anyway in two days I have drove from TX down to Miami and here we sit for a 6am unload at a sisco in medley. Ive driven 21 hours in 2 days...not to bad I dont think.
Anyway Im thinking about doing the 6 month lease with Trans Am......lol....gotcha. I am only kidding so dont bite my head off.

Well we are broke down again...sitting in SC till the am. We have had the truck fixed at the shop in rockwall, then kenworth dallas and now its still doing the same thing. They replaced the apu's alternator, truck alternator and the batteries twice..wtf. Also, a little bird told me that after training if you dont go lease you go home until a company truck comes available. Which I guess means if you dont lease you dont get a truck...so people are leasing cause they cant afford to go home after spending a month or more training. So now I have no idea what im going to do? I am one of the ones that cant risk going home and trying to find another job, and I really cant risk doing a lease neither knowing that I will probably lose my ###. So what shall I do? Thats the million dollar question. I hope I can make it 6 months or a year then go somewhere else...if I make it that long. Or hell it might not be that bad...yea right..lol

Sounds like you have strong feelings why NOT to lease right away. Please explain. Beyond the business aspects, why wouldn't a driver want to lease?

Lease is OK,
just find a better outfit to do it at !!! -
after you get done training do not sign a lease unless you wanna pay them all i saying, ive bee. there done that ,good luck with your future, company drivers dont make alot but at less you dont have to pay them every week, lease at trans am are made for people who dont need to have home time, good luck again, theres alot of better jobs ouf there, let me know now it works out for you ,,simplemanterry
