Atbs sucks i would find a better trucking bookeeping service because they wont itemize all of your deductions for your taxes find a firm who will around where you live but make sure they specialize in the trucking industry. They also can prepare your profit and loss statements.

 

I think he was talking about signing on with central and asking to join the kraft dedicated fleet. Not sure who is in charge of it so you might ask during orientation or another driver might be able to tell you who it is.

 

But ATBS draws smiling faces and sad faces on your P&L so even if you can't read or understand what the numbers mean, you still know where your doing good or bad. That's got to be worth something!

 

Re: ATBS... Personal opiniton, I agree they SUCK... If you have satillite radio - listen to Kevin Ruthaford... also check out mygauges.com... MUCH better than ATBS not only for service, but it teaches you how to do it yourself so you have a better understanding of your expenses vs. income...


We DID have ATBS, but with our background, and already using Quickbooks, I found we were duplicating work - AND at the end of the year, they were asking Gary about numbers - then asking us if that sounded right??? ATBS was suppose to be the experts, why ask us if that sounds right!! Needless to say we fired them, and saved $16/wk...

 

Plus, one of their financial experts got a better job.... At Central as a DM! What does that say about ATBS?

The only reason is because that's how Central does it. I think you go to Conley for the class stuff then they ship you to WVC for the driving. Could be wrong about that you may do it all at WVC either way you are going there. Bring something to do on the bus it's a long ride

 

im new to this site but i'v been reading alot about central refrigerated service sence they got ahold of me, im taking it they are the real deal in traing people and giving them a job? i really want to drive just affraid it might b a scam or somthing? and if it is the real deal is ur pay ok just starting out with them?
