i think you would do fine at boyd brothers.....they are a stand up reputable company with good home time and miles.

Please be sure to tell us about the "goon squad" they put you in once you get there. My brother went there and he's a bit over weight for his height.5'10, 250#, can still bench twice his body weight. Former Marine, but the beer has gotten to him. Day 2 they sent him to what he called the "goon squad", with everyone else they didn't think could handle the physicality of the job. The heart rate monitor popped 3 right off the rip within the first 10 minutes. The group was made up of less than 10 % of the rest of the recruitment class of men, but 100% of the females that "slipped through" the application screening process. TMC can hire who they want, but don't BS when you reject an application. Spit it out and just put it on your trucks. "no fat people". In fact, change the name of the company from TMC to NFP. Make it simple for those of us that are pear shaped to know we're not wanted in you're trucks.

 

im not fat by no means, i am a broad shoulderd tall line backer lookin american big arms big back big hands and alittle bit of a gut but what i have seen on their websight they have short fat guys workin in their fleet too

 

I think they reject the big guys because they can't fit into the small cabs of the Peterbilts. LOL
