TATRA was under control of TEREX for a brief time in the early 90's, but the gov of the Chzech Republic, when they got their shait together, took majures and established once again control over the company under the strategic interests.

Recorded a video From Umbukta down to Mo I Rana. The tunnel at Umbukta is closed so have to take the mountain pass. From the top of Umbukta down to the first roundabout I think I used the gas for maybe 2min, think it's about 30km. When you are fully loaded meaning 50t it's full throttle from the roundabout. You reach cruising speed for the first time after about 35-40min.
Tried to fiddle with movie maker a bit to make it more interesting

    Anyway here it is.

Scania R560 lifted to good over 600hp

The lake you see in the movie is ~250m over the sea

Thought it might suite here since it's a cabover

Sorry, some of the backgrounds music is wmg stuff. Meaning you are not allowed to make it available on the phone, and Icrap stuff.

+ Some corrections. the lake is at 1,600 ft or 487m over the sea
the tunel is at 2000ft or 600m over the sea, how high Umbukta is I don't know

I-#### do wonders in getting stuck and driving in ditch. Those buttons have no feeling and you never know how many gears it decides to change and when.

TC is always too slow, if you trust it you will end up in ditch. I don't know how many times I have let of the throttle, straightened the truck and accelerated again before the TC even reacted. I have also been stuck quite many times because I couldn't switch off the TC completely without pulling the ABS fuse.

Pink Panther was imported from Holland I think, might have backed km but anyway the bushings were finished.

When you drive a little bit more maybe you will learn that safety comes first, after that maybe comfort.

The first 4 series had a lot of problems,(1996) it was a whole new truck! Scania said they won't do a major redesign again! Don't blame them! They had alot of issues! R series had a few probs at first too! Volvo are a fantastic truck too ( at this side of the pond ), my first choice if I'll buy a fleet! ( cheaper and in the first 5 years cheaper to run, autobox works better!) but honestly, if you're an o/o and it has to last 15 years which will you choose? Think about what still runs on the road! And you're an o/o!
