The CDL training is very expensive for me, most standard training are like $6000.

I can financing these money, but then at least next six months will be very difficult for me.

There is also some minimal training like 10 hous, that only $1000 - 2000.

I want to know if i take the minimal training, is it will be a problem when i looking for a job ?

    plz give me some suggests

all the big boys want 120-160 hours from an accredited school
if you are now unemployed look into grants from unemployment
NJ paid my whole schooling just to get rid of me :biggrin_25519:

Also alot of your bigger companies will also pay for your schooling if you agree to stay with them for a year. Small price to pay for the training you will receive. So look into companies like Prime, Schneider, Central Refrigerated. While you may not like the company all you have to do is fulfill the year and then you are free to go to another company. Just thought I would throw that out there. Some companies while they don't pay for the school upfront they will reimburse you so much a month to pay you back for the schooling.

I used to drive in the 70's. I quit driving and stayed home till 2002. I went with CRST 8 month contract. As a female in the industry, this worked pretty good for me. But if you look at CRST, know they will NEVER get you home on time, they will cheat you out of your home time, and some of their trainers are questionable. There was a sexual harrassment class action suit against them and the company lost.

But, they do fix their equipment, know how to run a team to make money. They do want you to shut down in bad weather, which is very important when you are just learning in the winter. Where ever you go, learn how to chain your truck in good weather, and take the chains off to, so you will not end up being a drowned rat in the bad weather. Take if from the girl that ended up being the drowned rat! Smile/
