Does anyone have a step by step on doing a overhead on AC-15 ? I've adjusted valves on cars but never one of these, specs, procedures, would be great. Thanks

rotate engine to top dead center pin flywheel. intake valves 1-2-4 at .015 gap. exhaust 1-3-5 at .030 gap. jakes 1-3-5 at .033. rotate engine one full turn and pin flywheel and do intake valves 3-5-6 at .015 gap exhaust 2-4-6 at .030 gap. jakes 2-4-6 at .033 button it up and drive. that is if this is a single turbo cat c-15.

Thank you very much, it is a twin turbo, does that change things ? Is that valve lash with engine hot orcold? Thanks

ok it's an a-cert you will have to adjust the vva's also. i will look in my book and see what order you do them in. but the adjustment i posted still applys to everything else.except mxs or nxs the jakes are set at .027 bxs set at .033.

ok on vva's when on tdc do 1-2-4 vva's then rotate engine and do 3-5-6 vva's at .020 dont go more than .020 some people will swear it runs better but your only asking for trouble down the road. been there done that!
