TMC

Thats what drove at my last job and had plenty of room

 

All this negativity about TMC and there pay % and everything else. I mean come on now have all of you that are bad mouthing TMC even worked here?

 

i'm no authority...infact still a student...they (TMC) came to my school...i heard what they had to say and was impressed...then..a guy who was there on a refresher said his friend was told to lose weight or he would be fired by the end of the month...is it true? idk...but it certainly seems to be a popular rumor.

 

I have seen a few overweight guys working here and when I went through orientation we had some in there. I have never heard of this.

 

Im not bad mouthing them i just want to know if i quit my job to not have job when i get their

 

Well I have...there percentage program you could never really get over 28% and they also hold it against you if your revenue to the truck is not good even when you take everything they offer you..now that being said..

When I worked there the son was running the co and everything that I could see was he was only concerned how much $$ he could stuff in his pockets...

They were pushing drivers so hard due to that, that their safety rating went in the tank.

Ive heard the old man Harold took back over day to day ops and now they're safety rating since has dramatically improved.

The problem is you worked here when the son was running it. If Harold would not of come in and taken back over TMC would of ended up like Arrow did.

Yeah the CSA score here is pretty good and they are so touchy about logs and making sure everything is legal now.

 

Nope it sure does'nt.I can't even begin to know how many get to orientation only to get sent home the same day.

 

I just came from BTC... good folk down there They do percentage now and works out well, except for the dead heading, but they try to keep that at a minimum. TMC is very strict. They love military vets for that very reason. Don't feel bad they rejected me too... they said I didn't exsist in my union company and I met 2 others with the same story. Good Luck.... oh and BTC's CSA isn't the greatest. I wouldn't even call it good.

 

Worked for TMC about 3 years ago. Moved to them for the "46 out of 52" weekends hometime advertised on the website.

Went thru orientation got my truck. The first load sent me out on Tuesday and delivered on Friday morning early. Sat in truck till Monday thru Easter weekend. OK. Lets move forward.

Over the next 3 weeks, they got me home once. Then out 2 weeks, no hometime.

I was willing to work hard (flatbed) to see my family. I mentioned to my FM that the website advertised 46 out of 52 weekends home.

SHE SAID " DO YOU BELEIVE EVERYTHING YOU READ?????" Here I am sitting in the truck dumbfounded feeling like a fool.
