It's Felecia. I'll go in and see her before I leave the yard. Do you want me soften her up for you? It'll be no problem. I'll just tell her to let us know when she's going on vacation again so we'll know to take ours also.

I just wanted to give everyone an update. I received a call from my recruiter earlier this afternoon and I am now set up for orientation this weekend. I am headed for the rock this Saturday and I am looking forward to beginning my (hopefully) long term career with Maverick. I know there are already several threads out there with daily updates on how things are progressing but I thought I might add one more. I will try and keep my postings as up to date as possible and hopefully someone might find them useful as I did reading the others. Thanks to everyone again for the info and updates. RunningMan, I'd definitely read it. I take my CDL test in 2 days and I have an app in at about 7-8 places so far, Maverick included. I've read a lot of the threads on here from start to finish already, but it never hurts to get a fresh set of eyes on the same old situation. Good luck and stay safe.

 

She is mine too....I didn't know she was on vacation either till Friday when I got a message from someone I don't know.

 

Well, I heard from Jeff today saying everything cleared for me. Not sure when I'll be going, or if. Maverick is my #1 choice for OTR but I've got a local job that I'm waiting to hear back from. I just talked to a different recruiter and he said this weekend will probably be full even if I decide to go with Maverick. Guess we'll see in a day or two, don't think I'm going to give the local company much more time than that.

Also, Go Hawks, good luck on your CDL test tomorrow. Just relax, be positive and you will do fine. Let us know how things go and who you decide to drive with.
