Sorry to bring you gloom and doom, but I don't think anyone would hire a driver with two dwi convictions on his record. I know that I wouldn't. Even if they were foolish enough to attempt to hire such an individual no insurance company would even consider insuring him. Find another line of work.

I wouldn't touch you with a 10-foot pole. No way.

It's going to be extremely hard to find any company that will hire you with those on your record. While one DUI causes a lot of problems and often prevents you from getting a job in trucking, having two of them shows a trend, and regardless of any new leaf you may have turned over now, they are the facts on record that are going to appear when they pull up your past history. Insurance companies control much of who can and cannot be hired, and there are very few carriers whose insurance will cover a driver with multiple DUI's, regardless of the amount of time that has elapsed.

Sorry I can't provide you with more hopeful info, but your situation does not look promising.

The kind of companies that would hire you with 2 DUIs you DO NOT want to work for!!!!

I worked for one because they would hire me when I had very little experience. What a loser outfit they are.

Brickman called this right. The only outfits that would hire you will be disreputable outfis with garbage equipment and very low pay. They would use and abuse you and know that you have to take it.
Best advice has been given "find another field." Other than that most carriers would demand at least 5 years since your last dui others will require 10 years since the last and the best companies will not hire anyone with a dui EVER.

I have three, but I can get a job at any company I wish. DUI's at least 10 years old aren't a problem, because MOST states drop negative information off after 7 years.

Not sure about Canada, but in the US, negative information on Drivers License Records drop-off in 7 years.

I believe once its on a dac report it stays indefinitely. Mvr's do vary from state to state as far as maximum reporting for employers, but Police have access to every conviction EVER and some people can get this info (wether it is legal or not). This information will pop up sooner or later. Besides companies have rephrased their application wording to now say; "have you EVER been convicted of a dui, oui, dwi?"
This means if you lie you just falsified your app and is grounds for immediate termination.
