Not bad for a truck that supposedly is only a 5.8 MPG truck.

    Shows 6.85 mpg

    Who'd a thunk it....

mine came out opposite, I thought I was getting about 6.2 and even 6.5 on light loads. But alas, only 5.7 for the quarter ! must have been too much idling ! haha.

what program did you use to make that PDF? Excel?

do you find mpg based on miles divided by fuel purchased?

I have an excel spreadsheet I made for it.

I print it with doPDF writer.

I have a book I keep track of all my miles, states and fuel purchased. These are matched to my fuel receipts as well.

So yes, it's actual miles driven / fuel purchased.

2nd qtr for me was for the company truck I drove, a 2009 Freightliner Cascadia.

3rd Qtr is for my personal truck I bought in July, a 2007 Freightliner Century.
