here is one for ya to read and respond too...back in june, i had to take 27 days off to care for mother who suffered a stroke then later passed...then in the 3rd week of july i had to be home for my wifes major operation and was out 8 days, i went out today to get a load that runs me back by the house for one night stop. the load doeesnt deliver till 0300 on the 2nd of aug...im 515 miles away so i willl drop it tomorrow evening approx 1900. My dispatcher who has been more than cool during this whole deal calls me and asks me why am i stopping. the load says to drop at 0900 on aug 1st but the bol says 8/2 0300. i did call dispatch to confirm and they said to go with what the bol says which we always did before. Not sure how to take his tone. do you think he is getting pressured from above or do you think he is showing his true colors? There is another interested company who would like to see me come aboard and at .5cpm more. I dont want to jump ship but after that little micro management phone call makes me want to drop the truck and load in here yard and walk away! afraid they might screw with my dac or something...
