    I wasn't gonna complain about Sargent it was the first time hauling for them it was a quick last minute load and seemed ok. Well it took 2 weeks to get what was suppose to be "quick pay" after calling 3 times in a week I was told the check was in the mail! Well the check in the mail does not help much for a driver on the road with no one at home. Needless to say this resulted in a huge argument between my boss and I and me walking away from a job I loved. Thanks sargent bunch of lies and bs.
    The invoice says pay with in 2 days of receiving (mind you it was mailed overnight on wednesday May 30th) and we finally had a mailed check yesterday June 13. So if your gonna haul for them be warned and dont expect to be paid anytime soon.

    Sargent out of New York? or Sargent out of Maine?? I've hauled dozens of loads for Sargent out of Maine, never once had an issue. Never hauled for the one out of NY. The one from ME though, they don't offer quick pay, but they do pay in 7 days. That is 7 days from receipt of origional paperwork, so it could possibly take 2 weeks to get the check in your mailbox. Sargent from ME has always paid me above average rates, even paying full rate for 300 deadhead miles to load me. There are a lot of companies out there with similar names, so how about be more specific about which company you are trashing so you don't give the wrong company a bad name for another companies screw up.

    It was sargent out of New York, and the check hasn't even hit the mail box yet paper work was received and still took a week and a half to even get it put in the mail. The several times I called I was told they were behind on paper work and would get to it when they could.

    I can't tell you a whole lot Rob other than they were very slow paying and when they did it was a check in the mail. I don't even honestly remember where they run went, I'm no longer working for the driver or I would get you more info. Sorry couldn't be much help.

    No Sorry he had a load out of Ny and I am thinking it went to NC, it was pretty much a load to get him home.

    just quit sargents big rock transportation. Been there for 3mths came there under there trailer lease program. They got this program rig so the driver does not see any revenue. I tried everything from changing dispatcher, regions etc.The 60% only pays for fuel, tolls & lumpers and you might have to take money out your pocket to cover fuel. The 40% they will clean you out with the lease program which was only $350 plus insurance that you gotta take with them. You figure how, well there not paying enough revenue. and they will hold the total $475 over to the next week etc etc to bust what you owe them. There drivers from what I here borrowing money to get the load there or pay lumpers, its ashame what they are doing to drivers.
