Yes Ellenwood deff has a nicer lounge I'll give you that. The shop I've heard go either way but a few nights ago it took them 5 hrs to get me 2 tires and some springs to hold the trailer air lines up. I was under load too. I first walked in and they were on "lunch break". Bunch of them were just sitting around and still couldn't help me out. Must be nice to have lunch breaks....

Well I took my road test in an auto. The people up there are very nice and knowledgeable. I got issued a truck on wens and got a load put the same day!!! They gave me a 2009 automatic Pete I like the Pete not too crazy about the automatic but it's a truck and I know better than to complain about getting a truck and a load on the same day!!
-
Congrats! Did you just finish training or the 8 weeks of teaming?
-
They actually let me skip the training because I had 4 months with their sister company
DaReallyst Thanks this. -
I really cant complain too much, things went our way and God has blessed us too much for me to whine...LOL We almost had to get our PM done in Colton, CA but after talking to Breakdown about it, we are NOT getting our PM done in Colton. We have been told we WILL get it done after we drop our load in Bedford, PA...LOL We shall see about that, we are due to go home on the 19th and we will deliver in Bedford on the 15th. It is possable that Shippensburg can get us in/out in a few hours,,,right? LOL
We are picking up at the C&C in Colton and will be heading out tonight for Bedford, PA -
Lol I know of 3 people off hand that have spent 5 days in shippensburg waiting for a PM to be done. I have heard they are very slow up there for service work. But I hope you get lucky and can get in and out quick!
Anyone know how the Springfield terminal is on shop time? My driver tech needs to be replaced it doesn't log my miles and it's been crashing up to like 10 times a day and giving out real screwy directions. Hoping to get in to get it fixed after I get done dropping my pre plan off near Cincinnati in 2 days. -
Well our Fontana load ended up going to Columbus instead, but they gave us a load to W Sacramento after that. Just waiting here at Fedex for our load to be ready.
-
Adk, Springfield got us in and out same day for a BPM. That was a while ago however
-
We love getting our BPM's done in Fontana at Freightliner. They totally suck and it takes 3 days but that allows us to spend time with family and friends while we get breakdown pay. Pretty sweet deal
-
You got lucky! Lol. My driver tech crashed no lie 18 times today. And did most of it while trying to go back and forth messaging trying to get a correct load number to deliver at Bjs up in Burlington NJ. It was quite frustrating! And even more so when it does it when I'm about to get off a exit and need to know where to go lol. Told my FM about it and the only response I got was that "I wouldn't wanna go into shop they are busy and you will sit". Well ok but what do I do when the thing crashes and then doesn't turn back on? I can't run loads for these guys when my computer doesn't work. I guess I'll just keep on till it crashes and then route myself to the nearest terminal where they can repower w/e I have at the time.
