prepass for weigh stations trackable or no?

you can call BS, IRS, VD, PMS, whatever or whoever you want to call, I can tell you from first hand exp. they are wrong.

 

all i know is that if you see the big word out...sit on the prepass box.it wont pick it up,therefore not getting stamped.

 

I think I'm being followed by a black helicopter I'm sure its tracking my every move...

Yep, this works great. I used to sit on mine all the time to "slip" passed the Santa Nella scale.

I work for Prepass. The data is NOT timestamped. Only traceable to the day of the bypass...not the time of day. This data is in fact purged (deleted) from our system every 90 days. They only way to get it from us is with a GOVT issued subpoena within that 90 day window. We do not share the data at all with the DOT otherwise, and are not part of the DOT. There are a lot of misconceptions out there about the way our system works, so I just wanted to clear that up. Other companies (ie Norpass) will timestamp and share your information. That is one thing that gives us a competitive advantage in the industry.
