He is not stupid at all, we older drivers have manners and still try to do what we were taught rather than the screw you and do as I want. After reading a few of your post it is obvious the shake and bake school did not teach you any manners.
So I parked at the far quiet end of the truckstop.....

is this all you drivers have to complain about..........yes things have gotten better lol

You can continue to practice your old ways all you want but in modern reality, with the dawning of electronic logs and stricter laws and regulations, people can't get away with driving around half the night long after their hours have expired looking for that perfect place to shut down for the night and not piss off the crybabies.
The old ways are over, get used to it.

so the dawn of the new age of trucking has included lose of manners respect and self dignity
along with elogs and DAC and HOS
no one on here would make it thru 9th grade debating society
I guess you have to be over 50 to understand what I am saying -
The solution is simple...drive long enough and hard enough to be exhausted, and you wont care what parks next to you...you will simply be glad to have found a spot before your eyelids closed without your permission. Then your snoring will probably be louder than his reefer.

Everett, corneileous and 58Skylane Thank this. -
Don't get mad at me because things ain't no longer the way they were back in the 40's, 50's and 60's. That's why times move on. Things don't stay the same for ever.
I can see we aren't gonna come to an agreement on this so just keep on gripin' about piddly stuff. Good day. -
I found a nice quiet spot of this truck stop that had two empty spaces side by side, perfect for the guy I'm swapping trailers with. So I backed into the spot and got comfy since I knew it would probably be a few hours. A little while later I heard the air brakes of a truck parking next to me. How rude! I can't believe he took this spot when there are a few closer to the front that are just as good!
Edit: oh wait it's the guy I'm swapping with, nevermind. -
Well a shame we cannot still beat manners into clowns anymore, that was gold when someone would run his mouth in person and a old man would kick the next week out of them. Seen it happen a few times and that was always good for a laugh.
Have you ever seen what a fan belt does to someone after a few good hits? -
Everett Thanks this.
