In La the age to drive a cmv is 18 for in state ONLY, I've had my cdl since 18 & did in state driving til 21 then i was cut loose by my employer. this is nothing but pure negligence

 

Had to quote myself, someone just had to mention that they drove a semi when the were 16 on a farm, so how does that compare to driving on the Big Road? Ignorance.

 

I,m not sure what has been going on over the last couple of days, and I DON'T know if it is related, but I was heading back to Kansas from Reno last week (got home on Sun.) but there were more people out pulling horse trailers than there were campers.

Some of them should not TOW anything, some jack*### in a custom little Peterbilt crew cab pulling a "big" custom horse trailer all labeled up with rodeo advertising was passing me coming off of Sherman just before the Flying J get off in Dever.

Guy get about two tractor trailer lengths in front of me and I pull in behind him to pass a car getting off at that exit, as soon as I get behind him he decides that he wants to get off at that exit and SLAMS on his brakes, comes to an almost complete stop, and then cuts over into the other lane to get off.

Meanwhile another car has pulled in beside me to get off at that exit, he almost takes out me AND the car that was beside me. Just about had a hell of a wreck with all of the traffic coming off that hill.
