the school usually sends you to thier doctor, or you go to your own. you must have a DOT physical to attend CDL school. any company that hires you, will most likely send you to thier doctor as well, because they do not need to accept a DOT physical you already have.
-
How long is a dot physical good for?
-
depends on your state of health. longest is 2 years.
-
Two years unless doc wants you in every year.....you healthy?
-
they will only accept their physical. be prepared for a hair test which detects drugs or grass as long as its been growiing since you last used. 90 over 140 bp or higher will put you in a conditional medical card of one year or less. also everyone is measuring neck sizes now for possible sleep apnea. the company can also have more restrictive requirements than the DOT too. GOOD LUCK
