Excuse you? Maybe you got a set route where you don't have to worry about alternating short paychecks and such. Anyway I'm not scheming obviously because I'm on e logs. Urks me when people that got it better than most can't empathize with those who don't.

Then you would just run out sooner.
You would have run out either way, yes you would have gained back more hours but you would have been short those same hours the day before. Its all about time management and some times you just can't do that run no mater what. -
And there you have it, in a nutshell.Dave 1960 Thanks this.
-
you could do it like great wide dedicated requires and just log off the e-log and drive around with it constantly showing "driver please log on" all joking aside when your out of your 70, you gotta stop.
-
It's not the companies decision to let you do a restart it is a dot rule. If you were off the entire weekend of 34 or more hours then your hours are reset to zero. Unless you are not telling us everything like your first post you left out a few things. If they can't find this dot rule then this company needs to get an updated copy of the fmcs regulation handbook. -
34 reset is an "option" not a "requirement".
If the company wants you to run recap that's what you run... or you look for another job. -
why would recaps affect a 34 hour reset?
-
Are you seriously asking this question?
-
They don't, unless you run out of hours and have to do a reset.
-
Maybe he meant recap tires.
