Easy, he wants to insult those of us who do, and it is his attitude about making it look legal and not being legal that has led to the very recent mandate of eobrs in all trucks. Soon even snowy will be using elogs.

you all have been insulting me for the past 3 weeeks. yall think your the almighty perfect.

the eobr came around becuase you people can't fill out a log. and yall just don't seem to get it.

the sadder thing. is that it became a ball and chain for those of you that are too lazy to fill out a log. cuz not only are you micro managed. your harrased im your sleep. and your companies reaarange your logs MORE then you think us OUTLAW TRUCKERS DO.

and uuuuuuuuuuuu want meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to run the same way uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu and your companyu run.

    pay the price???????????????? what aprice.

every clean inspection earns us $50. that's $650 in 15 months i've been with this company.

YES SIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I'M AN OUTLAW TRUCKER. I DRIVE 24/7/365 AND I'M ROLLItNG IN THE DOUGH BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

this weekend, when i park my truck. i'm gonna fire up my hawg. and ride ride ride to new york city cuz i have a date saturday night. then i'm gonna ride a;ll night and all day., to come back home, pick up my truck and drive some more cuz i have a monday delivery.

and flatberd companies work bankers hours. which dodn't include saturday. but you'd know that since you run reefer. sorry bout your luck BOY.

and by the way. we don't need a box to track us. your cell phone already does that. regardless wetyher it has a gps chip turned on or doesn't conme with a chip.

Snowy you sure do make assumptions with out facts. My logs have never been changed by the company. I shut down when and where I want and stay legal with a perishable product.

You don't work weekends, but many other flat bedders do.

I am never harrassed about a load because dispatch knows exactly how many hours I have available.

It is you who has an ax to grind, uses insults, to try and get your distorted view of e logs across with no actual use.

And EOBRs are now mandated because people do not fill out paper logs legally. That includes you who makes it look legal.

Dang that is an average of an inspection a month. Must be a big bullseye on your company. A lot of on duty down time for a measley $650.

Ahhhhhhhhhh gang EOBR's are not a mandate yet. as of June 2012 nothing yet has passed yet. The ATA (better known as the ANTI TRUCKING ASSOCIATION) has been trying to push it . Eobr's were intended.for carriers with less than steller safety ratings. Eobr's would affect over 500,000 companies and cost a ton of money putting smaller companies out of business. Qualcomm is one of them involved and could get a.big pay day if the law is ever passed. It will be awhile before we see this mandated law

Also as of July 13th. The FMCSA is taking a second look at the cost of eobr's somewhere in the $2 billion dollar range which a Louisiana senator has said is way to much. He is saying FMCSA does not need to push this.

wrong, they were mandated in the highway funding bill passed and signed July 3rd.

An attempt to legislate an end-run around the House and Senate agreement on a mandate for electronic onboard recorders(EOBRs)'also known as electronic logging devices-- appears to be much ado about nothing.
Language calling for an EOBR mandate was contained within the latest highway reauthorization bill'dubbed the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP 21)' which passed both the House and Senate last Friday, June 29. The wording regarding EOBRs in the new highway bill stated that all motor carriers that must file a record of duty status (RODS) will be required to do so with an electronic logging device.

Another truck driver that does NOT stay current on events that affect his very livelihood.
