Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds

Well, looks like my truck will be going into the shop again. I've had a small air leak with my trailer air supply and was just gonna have it fixed on ky next tah but that's not gonna work now. Now when I try to supply air to any trailer, my air tanks drain out in about 15 seconds. When I have both air supply and parking brake in I lose air in a matter of seconds. I can bobtail to problem but I can't pull a trailer. It's leaking from down by the air tanks but I can't get under it far enough to see what's leaking because the side skirts are too low (I'm not too fat, my chest is just too big.)

Turns out that a secondary tractor protection valve down by the make tanks went bad and pisses out air. I should be up and running within a couple hours.

Hey all,
I am new to the industry and I just got my CDL and endorsements. I am based out of Concord, CA. and I have been working with a recruiter at Schneider; so far so good. I am applying for one of the regional jobs out of Stockton CA. There is an opening for a 6 days out 2 home and 2 weeks out 2 home. She said the pay is .28/mile for both but I will get more miles staying out more so I will probably take that one. Most importantly I just want a way into the industry to get good experience and make enough to pay expenses which are not too high right now. I like what I have heard so far about Schneider compared to my other options especially how they approach training (no team running). I am excited for this adventure and enjoy reading and learning from you all, Thanks! -
Stupid question time.
Do I update my NAT to local time, or to my OC time? -
The bit I quoted is my #1 reason for picking Schneider. Also, because when you're out with your trainer, it's for 5-6 days instead of 4-8 weeks like other carriers. I suppose some people need all that drive training, but I really didn't, and the thought of sharing a truck with another person for any length of time, let alone a month or two, is what my personal h.ell would be, I'm sure.Vitamin D Thanks this. -
How is the French Camp OC? Do they do orientation there or is it only at Fontana OC? Female Driver, I have already had a few bad dreams of getting stuck with someone I cant stand. For me it's usually about hygiene. I'm not saying I'm anal but some people never shower and have rotting teeth and that is my kryptonite! I used to work at a casino and I had a lot of people with rotting teeth who would bet $100 a hand at BJ!? Not like they can't afford dental work

Your local time where u at.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2Female Driver Thanks this. -
Female driver, there's no such thing as a stupid question but watch out you may get a stupid answer. LOL
Female Driver Thanks this. -
Always oc time, at least that's what I remember... or was that the log books. Heck if I know. I never leave the ET zone.
Female Driver Thanks this.
