I have been working at Texas TransEastern for about 2 years and think I have finally found a home.
Getting every other weekend off is outstanding for a driver that has not been with the company for a long time.
I make a good living without having to give up family time - that is VERY imporant to me, my bride, and it is good to get to know my kids again.
The money is great for hauling fuel and the folks in the office take care of me - they actually make time to talk to me about whatever is on my mind.
HOME SWEET HOME for me!![]()

Recruiter?

Steven's transport any good?

Why is it, whenever someone comes on here and posts something good about a company, they are automatically questioned on being a recruiter? I just looked at their website, and they are a regional bulk fuel carrier, not one of the mega carriers with a less than stellar reputation. Let's give this person the benefit of the doubt. He/she is probably someone who just found TTR recently and is sharing that they work for a decent company.critters, Tennessee Trucker, Hitman and 3 others Thank this.

Seemed suspicious as it followed this post.

I see your point. Four "drivers" come out of the woodwork with one or two posts, and very recent join dates, and paint the company in a good light. It DOES seem suspicious. -
Especially the part about "home every other weekend after 2 years".

I can tell you from personal experience that this company is CRAP....They run their drivers and their trucks into the ground.
Bald tire? It should make it through the night shift..write it up and we'll fix it tomorrow if we have any tires.
My trailer has a leak..ok well..go ahead and finish your loads and we'll have the mechanic look at it tomorrow.
Hey, where's my truck? I saw my slip-seat partner leaving as I was coming in...oh..it's in the shop..probably won't be ready 'till tomorrow. So do you have a truck I can use? I have 5 Murphy's loads tonight and it's Friday rush hour.
You'll have to wait..we don't have any trucks right now and the shop is working on the Murphy trailer right now so you can run with it...
I could go on, but you get the picture. Trust me..there are many better, but few worse, places to work. I'll bet it is Blue Knight Bird's first tanker truck job since he/she left Swift or something.wellbucket Thanks this.
