I'm here... for the last time ever. Swapping trucks with another driver, he's taking my new Pete and I'm taking his "old" one back down to AZ where I'll clean it out and go my way to greener pastures.

You mean no one in management has told you "you'll be back" yet? LOL.

There are greener pastures out there in this industry right now, especially after a guy puts in some time and keeps his nose clean.

Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

Nothing bad happened, I just decided that my OTR tenure had run it's course. I started applying for local jobs a couple months ago and found a driving job a grocery distribution center that will allow me to be home more often and for better pay and better potential for advancement. That was my goal from the start, and now that a have a couple years of experience there is no reason to put it off any further. Turned my notice in a week ago, should be on my way home after my truck is ready. That is, as soon as I get a preplan heading that way.
