Ok, then the bottom line. Make sure it appears nowhere by pulling the records yourself, if true then forget it........
Downside: If it appears anywhere now or in the future and they see it, you're toast, done, fired , canned etc. No recourse either. Possible fired on the spot.
Buy a coast to coast open grey dog ticket and tuck it away so your not stranded at some truckstop or terminal. ( every driver should have one of these )

well in this case there was 4 slabs , the size of pool tables , stack on top each other, since i couldn't look inside too see if tyed down right, i think the top slab slide on the bottom slab, they were like 2 feet thick too and you don't do that with alum, that's like stacking ice on ice its gonna go no matter how slow you go, and i think they loaded wrong anyway and pile em all in the front and not the middle like your suspo too with straps but i found all this on the aftermath and i figure it out

You better believe the insurance companies are gonna have your DL number associated with those claims.

If you get hired that is all well and good. Say you drive for 30 years with the company and then have a wreck. Not your fault but someone is killed. They ran a stop light or something. You are in the clear right? NO. He come the lawyers. They will research everything. Turns out you lied on your application. A lie is fraud. Not statute of limitations on fraud. You never should have been hired. The company is liable and you are liable. Criminal charge is going to come as the companies insurance is no good. You lose everything. You go to prison. Someone has to pay and it is going to be you.
Never hide anything. The bible says to be sure your sins will find you out.
Of course, if nothing goes wrong you should be okay. -
there are statutes of limitations for a reason, most being 2 years unless it is murder.
Heather-go for it.if it is not on the mvr you should have no problem and if you do-so what.move on to the next job offer or whatever is part of your plan.I actually read your post and am not hypothesizing as it seems most are regarding your question.chalupa Thanks this. -
Yeah, that was extreme. Anything is possible...that's true but ahh no, too far out in left field for all that to line up in a perfect storm.
But Drivers! Wooly does hit an interesting point.......We are classified as professionals just like my mom is classified as a professional nurse. Mom has liability ins. to cover her in case of a mistake....do we need a personal liability policy for just such an event??
For I submit : If we are involved in an accident and someone is maimed or killed....everyone will get sued as a matter of looking for deep pockets. That's S.O.P.
Worth considering IMO.......... -
Tazz Thanks this.
