Earth to the dumb ### that wrote the article............. its DIESEL not gas.
-
And because of that significant error, you didnt get the gist of the article?
-
Hardly........... since I am the one paying for my own fuel. -
Why is the idea of raising your rates so hard? Cost go up, rates go up. If you can't do this your not a good business person.

no one believes it but the truck owner is not recieving the fuel surcharge. some say companys are paying surcharges ,but who is receiving them.freight rates are cheeper now than in the past 30 years!!!!!! the stores have no right raising prices, saying it's because fuel is higher, when truck owners are bearing the pain and expence of higher fuel prices alone!!!! by the way wal-mart WAS charging me a lot more for my prescriptions than i am paying at an independent drug store!!!!check prices before you buy at wal mart ,they are NOT the cheepest.

driving out the little man. easier for big brother to deal with a few large companies than many small owners. same with farmers, squeeze them out for the corporate farms, control food source. have as many as possible rely on gov. checks, that are easy to cut off.
they say you can't control the oil companies. well we control foreign countries, to manipulate oil don't we.
i may be wrong, but wager i am more right than wrong.

Out of curiousity , what happened in the 70s during the oil embargo? I've seen pics of people waiting in long lines to fill up and high prices etc...., but what did truckers do? Obviously there still around.

I'm usually about as Anti-Walmart as you can get but your way off base with prescriptions. They have over 400 drugs for $4.00 a month. I save $56.00 a month buying them at WallyWorld compared to my prescription co pay with my insurance.

We live in a FREE MARKET, stores can charge anything they want. They have every right to raise prices. It's what people are will to pay for an item that counts. If you think the price is to high don't buy it, but if I think it's ok at that price I buy it.
So why are all of you O/O taking such low rates when the costs have gone up so much just this past 12 months?
