I have a low mile preplan. Pick up Valdosta going to Suwanee. I voiced my frustration on that short run.

 

Man did my morning turn into some nastiness. First, I arrive at customer, swing open the door and thank goodness I step away from them when I open for it fell right off! Old rusted out trailer and I had it looked at when in yard to be told it was ok. Apparently it wasn't... Second, I back in to the dock and load gets rejected. I'm told that every load delivered in last 4 Weeks has had the last two pallets leaning over. The manager is now rejecting every one of them with this problem to make a point to the shipper. I'm the third truck rejected in three days, three loads. They said the one yesterday morning was worse than this one. So here I sit, waiting for CSR to come in so they can do what they need to do and I can go get trailer fixed, then head to wherever I'm to take the load.

I just hope my day gets better from here...

 

Shaggy, u picked up water out of Valdosta.

 

I was removed from that load because of the problems with this one. I'm heading to drop yard where trailer will be repaired and leaving the trailer there. I'm picking up tonight here in Jacksonville going to Charlotte, if it doesn't cancel this time. Same load canceled last week.

 

Preplanned a very short load. This week is turning into a really bad miles week. Not happy...

 

Wheel seal went as I got here to Florence, SC to pick up this big mile load of 59 miles for tomorrow delivery. At least it happened just before parking for my break.

 

Anj, did you load out of Marpan Recycling? If so that's the account I serviced for almost 3 years working with Pritchett, good people around there.
