Lol yes! In fact he just got up there not too long ago. He's making his rounds today, going from minot, beulah, watford city, williston, tioga, back to minot. Wheeewwww it sounds exhausting. But if you're going to pass thru all those towns anyways might as well check out whats going on and put in some apps. We don't have time to waste! haha Thanks for all the help Gisquid it is very much appreciated.

super expensive to live here. The summer has been nice to us so far. It hasn't been extremely hot. My brother and I took a drive down to Kern to go Clam digging it was loads of fun we try to do lots of outdoor activities during the summertime I'm not a big fan of cold weather. I wouldn't make it out in north dakota! I wouldn't mind if hubby worked out of texas. OMG I would be visiting him in a heartbeat! I was originally from there and clamming, crabbing, fishing is abundant there. Don't miss Cali? I wouldn't either. Its overated!

I have not seen my particular situation posted on here yet and wanted to send out some feelers to see if there is a realistic possibility that I could get hired on out there. I've had my CDL for 14 years but haven't driven a class A vehicle in 12. I've driven a lot of class B stuff over the years and have a clean driving record.

I've been pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology Educationfor the last 4 ½ years (135 credits and an Associate's degree in Education), but circumstances have arisen in my life where money has to take priority over finishing the degree right now. I have a 3.9 GPA and have consistently made the Dean's list; not that this is in anyway relevant to the oil fields, but that it may speak to my intelligence and character.

I work hard and cause no problems. I've never been unemployed and am always considered a top employee. I will be testing for my endorsements next week and have taken 4 days off of work the following week to drive out to ND to look for a job. I just want to know if there is any realistic chance of me finding a driving job not having Class A experience in so long.

AVOID KEY ENERGY. Story I am getting from the "Grapevine" working here is Hess has cut ties with Key over money. Key spent all week getting all their frac tanks off hess sites cause an issue over money. The VP for Key is here from Houston, TX to fire mgrs and fix things but its too late for that. This company is almost done here in ND. They are hemmoraging money here. They are the biggest energy company in the US but here in ND, they have failed miserably. Power Fuels is killing them in every way by underbidding them on jobs. People quit here by an avg of 2 per day. Funny thing is, they still keep hiring. They got another class of 31 people coming starting this monday... WTH!!!! Key is a sinking ship! Unfortunately. So I am jumping. Pray for me....

On the oil side, prices are up so they have rampped up production. We have been working 70 hrs a week but are now told to put 80+ hrs in.
