When we first started out driving there were sights that may us all know that God was an artist. After millions of miles on the road are there still sights that one finds inspiring? Being from Missouri, I love any view with mountains or water in them. Like I-95 through Rhode Island or I-79 coming into Morgantown WV.
What are the views you feel someone has to see before they end their trucking career.
Where is the View that still impresses you?

Great question Wooley Rhino! I have to agree with lonelyswmtrucker westbound Cabbage is awesome in the winter! Also in Oregon, I 84 along the Columbia River. I 70 west of Denver especially Glenwood Canyon.
I-5 south of Mt Shasta especially the truck stop where you can park facing Shasta and wake up to that view in the a.m.! US-97 in Cali and Oregon is also scenic. I also enjoy the ride thru the Gorge in NC and I-77 southbound in NC.dirtdiver88, Wooly Rhino, The Bird and 1 other person Thank this. -
I-90 west in Washington. There is a scenic pull off you can get a truck into. The Columbia River Gorge. Oh. My. God. If your lucky you'll see the military planes fly by. Another, also in Washington is Lake Chelan. 287 & 191 has some spectacular views in Montana. 84 in Oregon like they said is spectacular. 101 in Southern California is amazing. I-80 Utah when the sun hits those mountains and turns them purple. The list goes on and on. We live in an awesome country. ❤
Kansas, Wooly Rhino, last 1 and 5 others Thank this. -
I almost forgot these: I-70 through Utah in the Sam Rafael Swell. It's like a scene from Cars. Also I-15 in Arizona. That 29 miles is pretty awesome.

I-70 comming down into Denver, if u can get into the pulloff. As the sun is rising in the am, u can see the buffalo roaming down below with the sun rising. Bend, OR in the winter. Just stop and look around from there is amazing.

Wooly Rhino Thanks this. -
never drove west of chicago until 6 months ago. First trip to CA along 40 I saw a tumbleweed go across the highway I had to call the wife she just LOL at me then I saw a roadrunner kept looking for Wiley Coyote. Going thru NM was waiting for John Wayne and the calvary to come over the mesa. This USA is quite a beautiful place full of wonder
Still my favorite is the Chesapeak Bay Bridge tunnel going across at dawn with the sun shimmering on the water entering a tunnel 10 miles out to see looking for George Harrison and his yellow submarine
