notezbngrn71, Mic and Treefork Thank this. -
Hey I will be visiting an old Roehl customer today. NORAMPAC in Niagara Falls NY. Used to haul a lot of loads out of there. I'm sure they still do.
-
I've seen these trucks a few times in Iowa and have been meaning to ask someone if they are owned by a relative. I've only seen daycabs and I know they aren't ours since the logo is different and they aren't reefers.
-
Mmm NORMAPAC....I loved that shipper...kit was a guarenteed load that always took me out of Canada...muddy place and heavy loads...but a decent shipper.... -
The recieving side of things is even worse. (Muddy mess) lol sitting here now getting unloaded. Well I mean I'm on the dock anyhow...
life of a trucker...

I actually got to return there again today. Unloading now. Couple red trucks out front. 2 shiny new ones and old 775... sometimes I miss getting all over the country, but then I go home and eat dinner with my wife and kids and forget about the rest of the country!
stay safe boys!
Treefork Thanks this. -
Hubby started whats supposed to become their 2nd crew for Texas. So far its just him till they get 2 more guys for the team. They're going to do the east part of TX, along with LA, Ar, Ok, Al & that way but right now his DM is sending him on longer runs. He was in Iowa this morning & now he's on his way to Chicago, then back down. Supposed to start routing him back toward home after that. I don't mind the long runs for now as long as he gets him home at a decent time. It sure was nice having him home for 4 days. Haven't seen him that much in over 10 months. Its been a hard year for us at times but glad we hung on. Sure do appreciate how Roehl does him tho. We are VERY happy with this new company. Nothings worse than gettnig screwed out of miles, home time AND dealing with DM's that treat you like crap. Makes me wanna take a road trip & go snap a neck or 2. Haven't had to even remotely deal with that since he's been here. So nice, peaceful. Just go to work, WORK & come home.Bigdubber and skyviper73 Thank this.

I'm thinking about switching companies again, got an offer with a different company pays a bit more, better benefits, more vacation. Different kind of role, but with a company that has a solid culture of safety.
