Yeah. Everyone (even shop employees) have been very helpful. Qualcomm system is top notch. I send a free form and it gets a response within ten minutes.

I broke down at the yard in Ontario a few hours ago. Within one hour, the shop had me rolling. Turns out, the exhaust hadn't regenerated properly. They hooked up the computer, forced a parked regen and off I went.

    So far so good.

Got 6500 miles in 15 days. Not too shabby. Tomorrow will be my first full paycheck.

Not really. You put in a home time macro and go wherever you go. Depending on where you live and wether you're OTR or regional

Paper work, video's, road test, physical, meeting various department heads, more paperwork, more video's, lunch, smoke breaks, bathroom breaks, trucker stories from various people now off the road, and from other new hires. If I didn't know better, this reads like a typical orientation.

Got to the shipper in portland around 6pm and was told the load wouldn't be ready till 8am. No problem, I kicked back in the sleeper and got a good nights rest, then was loaded in the morning. An hour after leaving that shipper $220.00 in detention pay popped up on the QC. Automatic, didn't even have to ask for it. 8)

When I was running otr i got home late all the time, but on the western fleet they have gotten me home ontime except one time, and that was only by one day. And i haven't had to swap loads at all to get home.
