I appreciate all the responses and they really have me thinking. So would it be a good idea to become a lease operator compared to a company driver?

That all depends on you, your background, experience, funding etc.
-
You seem to be looking to get rich quick. That won't happen in this industry.

Be a company driver for the time, learn the basics. Keep track of your expenses and fuel stats etc... just to get an idea of what will come out of your pocket. There is alot more to it than you think. I want to have my own truck one day but not today. It is a big comittment having that truck payment hanging over your head, I am not ready for that. It all comes down to what it always comes down to cpm but as an O/O it better be dollars per mile.

Ok, I will, but HEY, you know how to become rich quick, doing FAVORS
