58 and 59 are your inspection messages. The same as when you use to sign the bottom of the log book saying all was well.
If you don't do them, you are not doing your inspections per the DOT. it's a citeable offense and big bucks.

Not so bad as it turns out. Only 11 hrs past DLD so got rolling before noon today. Had time to sleep eat and shower.so all.was not lost.

So what is daily check calls?

 

A breif summary for your DM... jours driven and on duty the day befire, hours remainin on 70 etc. Helps them plan the upcoming loads.

but nascar dont you miss the annoying spam messages from a certain member of the office staff. i just love those and i really like to know the weather forecast for the east coast when i am in riverside ca.almost forgot the alliance messages i get for no reason too

 

Coincidentally just yestrday I sent a loaded and rolling, during about a 45 minut period about an hour later I recieved 6 requests to señd or resend it. Pull over and resend it. Get two more messages to send or resend i. This time J reply and ask if its a glich or do they reallly need it again. Got a response back saying the glich was fixed.

 

was shocked to find out when i got back from home time over the 4th that my DM quit. Well, i wasnt really shocked. Shame too, I really liked him... :/

 

DMs are hard to keep. They push them hard and they pay them low.
Other than that, it's a great life!
