Been pulling one for the last 7 years.
Always load the nose heavy. With my T800 KW and my 53' Traileze I am 39,000 lbs MT but only 2,000 lbs lighter on the trailer than I am on the drives. Be sure to fully open the trailer when greasing or else points underneath the beavertail will be neglected. Keep the two piano hinges for the beavertail well lubed>I do mine every Monday morning to ensure it is done.
They're great trailers and are easy to operate. Good luck to you. -
becareful with loadin 2 drum rollers if there's any moisture on the dovetail or the drum of the roller and the drum spins itll slide and u could roll the roller off the slide. the 1 drum rollers arent as bad with the wheels it help keeps things in check. just a heads up u might even know already.

Excellent point>been a while since I did a twin drum roller. Hope you have a remote control for the winch>drive and winch on @ the same time.

A good way to get more traction with steel drums on steel ramps is to spread some dry sand on the ramps.
You wont believe the difference it makes. -
It will be twin-drum rollers...setting out and picking up for an asphalt paving crew every night.

Carry a broom with you to sweep of the deck so rocks and such don't fall off and break windshields, etc., plus to make it easier for loading.
