well all the guys from my class are still workin. no one posts but me. i can tell you that it is harder to post stuff when u get out on your own. most times you just want to park, eat, shower, then sleep. i try to post when i can but no one wants to hear the boring crap about delivering your load on time. as soon as i get an inverter in my truck i will be posting some videos on youtube. some might even be worth checking out. since this is not a chat room i dont really post everything on my mind. but then again i would probably scare people with some of my thoughts. lol.

Someday I hope to be a super trucker with 5000 plus posts...

When he says "us" the only thing he could be referring to is "quitters with a lousy attitude". Does that rake and a broom suit you better?samurai Thanks this.

I have a little experience with a couple of guys who chose to leave. 6 in my class, 5 are still here. 1 did not make it through the Trainer phase. He was convincrd it was all a scam, yet he never had any good reasons why he felt this way.
Today, dispatch asked me to pick up a driver and give him a ride to NC. Turns out he quit. Claims he made; 20 year driver, o/o at 3 different times. Regional position. Been with Millis for 6 weeks. 5 to 6 hundred a week take home and felt he was worth double that. Had problems locating shippers and receivers and dispatch wouldn't help him. Couldn't keep his idle time below 50% and just wasn't going to be uncomfortable. Was having problems delivering on time saying dispatch was unreasonable in the time they alloted him. The folks in the logs department were making crazy requests concerning his logs. He said he only fills out 2 lines, Drive and sleeper, and that is good enough. He said he needs more freedom without dispatch making all the decisions for him.
He said he is now headed to Dart to do a lease deal.
I couldn't wait to get the guy out of my truck.
Then there is the guy who has shown up in this thread. nuff said

Wow. I wonder if that was the guy I picked up in Eden and drove to Cartersville for orientation. Timeline looks about the same.
