Is he paying for his own fuel or using there account? I can live on $200 a week or less on the road. But the fuel is the big expense. What the recruiter told me was $1500 a week but we all know that's a high estimate I would think.

You pay for your own fuel, but you get Prime's discount. Hes just starting out flatbedding. Still learning how to secure loads and everything.

That's what I wanted to know. I was leased to a company and we used their fuel card. The last one I paid it out of my pocket. Thanks.

We have COMDATA cards. You pay for the fuel, but get a good discount. IP should be able to help with that part too.

Comdata is what we used. They just subtracted it from our settlements. It was a small company and other things like PM's and tires I paid out of pocket.

IP and SE can help with the general parts of the lease. I just know about the flatbed part of things.

Aight... Update. Got my first airport drop load. The sides for all the new hangers. Had to pull out onto the runway and back between the vintage airplanes and the cones to unload.. Was interesting. After that I got a load of shingles to Md. Got another load of shingles/rolled roofing. This stuff weighed over 49,000 pounds. US40 in Pa SUCKS. 9% grades, 10mph speedlimits... Got a nice light load now. Heading to SLC for Monday, then down into Cali for 4 more drops. Trying to keep from killing my 70 so I dont get stuck in Cali
