There is no doubt that I along with all the other Walmart private fleet divers are as you say the "upper crust" or as I like to say we are the best of the best.

Before I was a Walmart driver I spent 17 years as a teamster grocery driver,I have been the best of the best for longer than youve been on the road. I like to look at it this way,I have set goals and by working hard I have had positions in the two of the highest paying segments of the driving industry.

    ralph Thanks this.

transam pete, i deliver to wal mart's grocery dc's often; & no matter if i'm bringing them meat or produce, i'm treated like the scum of the earth @ them by the receiving clerks. i don't say nothing rude to them @ all; i speak when spoken to with them. when done i tell them to have a nice day. cheyenne wy, dc is horrible. deliverd produce there, filled out t check for lumper then got asked to make it out to wal mart only to get told my load was rejected & no lumper charge. when i asked why did u have me make t check out to u then, the response i got was, U DO AS I TELL U. all i can say is if sam walton were still alive NO DRIVER delivering to them would get treated this way; & he wants to talk professional; go look @ ur own d a m n employee's/co-workers before u pass ur judgement on others

that right there is the reason alot of drivers have the attitude we have towards U drivers out there. yall are no better than the rest of us, all yall do is make more money, remember that. also i'd like to see u do what i do, i am willing to bet u couldn't do it @ all. haul cattle this week, pull a reefer next week, haul feed/grain the following week, then flatbed, etc. like i said all u do is make more money, i bet U or UR other so called upper crust drivers can do that without crying for a break.

Of course they are better, that's why they have the better job and you're jealous. Improves your skills and apply for a job @ WalMart. That way you won't have to wine about your job.

because they have a better paying job does not make them better at thier job
teamster work pays better but breeds lazy complainers and has brought this country to it's knees
unions and teamsters decimated detriot and the car industry
I drive a brand ne KW that doesn't make me a better driver either
only NOT being an arrogant haughty ##### can make one a better driver

Walmart has the pick of the top drivers in the industry because of the pay and respect they reward their drivers with. If having a solid work history, stellar safety record and years of driving experience is not an indicator that someone is better at the job then I dont know what is. What exactly is your criteria for one to be "better" at their job?

Do you know only one in four drivers can pass our pre employment road test? Thats one in four drivers who according to their applications are the most qualified in the industry. If your lucky enough to be invited to interview you have already beat out thousands of other applicants. Most applicants could probably be considered better drivers just by meeting the minimum requirements.

DC guy, just because you have all that doesn't make you a trucker. 12' Prostar, no GPS on it yet, an Android, good old road maps, and a driver thats been allover the U.S besides Alaska.
Now, your making money. Ok, that's your deal, keep that to yourself has it offends many of us. I rather not make any money than drive for a store that claims to have low prices. 10 dollars for 2 pack of steaks... what, they come from a million dollar cow?
    End rant.

There it is, the offensive comment that starts stuff.
Top driver, explain that Wal-mart truck that just crushed that guys fender.
Explain the Wal-mart doing 60 in a 45 zone, just walked on around. Made me feel like I was standing still.
