I saw and read, thoroughly, but I wanted to see how things have changed. You never can tell how consistent a company will be.

If you haven't done so already you can check them out on facebook, I've gotten some good feedback from the company as well as a few others.

    Just did, thanks :biggrin_25525:

Btw, Watkins Shepard is a little far from where I'm wanting to be in WY (Cheyenne/Laramie) so maybe something in North/North-East Colorado or Western Nebraska?

im a little late on this post but iv been with btc for about 6 months now. i live in nw indiana and im home every week and some times a few days during the week. i have a 2012 mack got it with 23k on it. they just switched to % and most the time it works in my favor. i made 900 off one load of scap coils. there new orientation is a little rough as they refer to it as bottcamp but it will help you out in the long run. i think u only have to do the bootcamp if u are a student. all and all i like the company, espessialy now off % i run half the miles as i used to and bring home more than i used to make. the only reason i would quit is if i find a local job or decide to get my own authority. hope this helps you or someone else.

Hey guys, I'll be graduating TTC Nashville in October and currently looking at Boyd Brothers and BTC. I just spoke to a recruiter from BTC. They are now only % pay which I'm now seeing Flatbed Cowboy posted in June. Can anyone provide any insight on this pay scale . . is this a good way to go? I do like the idea of knowing what I'm going to be making roughly each week based on mileage pay and most Flatbed carriers I've found except for TMC pay by mileage. I've heard good things about BTC as well as Boyd Brothers. One perk for me is BTC is closer to Nashville and I hear they have pretty good home time . . although I'm not terribly concerned with getting every single weekend home at this point. Looking for great load securement training, benefits, dependable equipment, a solid safety record, good pay. ..

    Thanks for the input

Good luck with btc. i still think the company was a pretty good company to work for especially if you are comin right out of school. Im just a little bitter towards them still after they fired me. I told them i needed stay close to home for a month until my baby was born. they sent me 900 miles away and fired me when i parked the truck and flew home because they couldnt find ne one for me to swap loads with and said i had to take it. told em sorry. dont ever let the highway rob you of your family. i know i wont.
