You don't see to many post about McElroy. Good our bad..
My husband started to work forthem in March of this year. He was fresh out of CDL school and really didn't know who was the best for him to go with. So, we did our research and we found that McElroy was best for him. He is home EVERY weekend (except when he received his new truck). The pay is good, and his fleet manager is awesome! When my husband went up for orientation, it was hard on him. Not used to being away from home plus McElroy training is tough on the body. But, he adjusted and he loves his job. He is very glad he choose McElroy. I would recommend McElroy to anyone who is not afraid of a little hard work.

My husband just finished school and is out to start training with them come april 13.. we have two small kids so this is gunna be hard on them and i do belive him as well me i am glad to have a break..in all matter of seriousness i am glad he found a great company. everything i have read about them seems to be exactly what he was told by the recuiter. and to me thats a major plus. the ppl who work for them are realy glad to be working with them and it is nice to see that so many enjoy working for this company..he is one who tends to over think when something seems to easy so i do worry about him out in training for 7 weeks over thinking. i have heard at any time they can dimiss u if u arent making the cut is that true? and as far as the 7 weeks go.. were will he be staying they said they pay for room..what about food, clothes washing? what all does he need to bring? any info would be helpfull at least it give me a chance to understand what i have to get ready for him u know as a wife.. thank u and hope u all can help..

My husband also over thinks things.. But, he is very happy with his choice of companies.. Let me see if I can answer your questions.. They will let him go if he is not shifting correctly, and if he does not have a good attitude. I think if my memories serves me right, they give him I think $5.00 for lunch.. He will need to provide diner. Breakfast is at the hotel.. If you guys life close enough he will come home on the weekend while in training.. John took enough clothes to last a week.. I hope I have helped..

did John get his cdl in Saucier, if he did tell him wayne from class said hi and goodluck with mcelroy and if not tell him good luck any way hoping to end up with them in a couple of months. and its true they will let you go if your shifting is rough.
