I live in Texas and run combo plates on my truck. Combo allows me to run in the state only. I got a call from a customer that was wondering if I could go up to KC, Mo? What would it take for me to make a quick trip up there for a trailer? Do they have temp regional permits? If so is there a good place to contact (live person) to research this a little more. I get requests to do this out of state more than I thought I ever would before I decided to only operate in the state of Texas. I only have the 1 truck and trying to keep operating exspenses down to the bare minimal and stay close to home.

Just what I needed. Saved me a bunch of money by not going thru a service.

yep. you might also consider finding an owner/operator in your area who is already set up with IRP, IFTA, etc... you could hand these loads off to him and maybe he could help you find some local stuff in exchange.
