OK, one other suggestion here, if you want to do it all yourself, a farm and ranch supply store should have everything you need, in the way of supplies. But an RV shop would probably be your best bet.

I have a 15 gallon tank in my side box on passenger side. I have a 12 v rv water pump and a faucet in the sleeper. I put a tee in a fitting coming out of the tank. One side goes to the pump the other side goes to a bulkhead fitting through the floor near the edge of the sleeper. There is a ball valve and a fitting to hook up my garden hose at home. I have a 1/4 inch plastic airline coming out of the top of the screw on lid in the tank and that runs through the floor near the valve to vent the air when filling. When the water starts coming out the vent line, you know the tank is full. Has worked well for over 15 years for me. Only problem is I have had to replace the valve 2 time because it froze and split open. But twice in 15 yrs isn't bad so I'm not gonna change it. Also can open the valve to rinse your hands and face from putside if need be, nice little trick.

RV tanks can also be ordered with a tank heater. It's a small heater kinda like a heating pad. It doesn't get real hot. Just hot enough to prevent freezing.

My K100 came with a two tank water holding sidebox I really have no use for. They don't look like they've ever been used, and still have their papers from the factory sitting at the bottom. One smells fresh, but the other one smells like it got a bit of rainwater in it a while ago and is funky. The box itself (not including the mounting arms) measures about 24"X33"X28", and the tanks are plastic inside an aluminum box. Their brand is Snyder made in Lincoln Nebraska, and I don't see a capacity on them, but I'd say they're at least 20 gallons each. Bolts right to the truck frame. No plumbing I can see, but there are big 3 or 4 inch caps on the top, and spots on the tanks to install fittings

If anyones interested, I'll let it go for cheap. PM me, or I'll make an ad in the classifieds section.

Hey bud how are you doing? Thanks for the offer on the tanks. I am looking to run a long / low 32 gal. in the channel under the bunk to the rear. The 32 gal. I found is 48" long, 8" wide, and 20" tall, so it'll slide right into that rear channel.

Ah, yeah, I see what you're doing there.

We don't all have hundreds of inches of frame space to play with. Once I get these water tanks and 3rd and 4th fuel tanks off, I will. Hopefully I find someone to take it all off my hands so it can get some use for a change.

Try Northern Tool. They have sprayer kits that come with the 12V DC motor and different sized Poly tanks that are FDA approved for potable water.

I've got one of these on my to do list. Just the small 16 gallon one is all I need. I like to wash off after loading/unloading and wash my hands and face a few times a day and rinse dishes. I carry jugs now. 5 gals. of tap water and 5 gals. of local spring water for drinking and coffee. I would only use the tank for rinse water. There's no easy way to fill up the tank at the spring so it could be used for both drink and rinse water. And I'd expect the new Poly tank to impart some 'flavor' into my delicious spring water if I used it for that.

I think 40 gal. tank is overkill and wouldn't want that much under my bunk. That's 320 lbs. don't forget.
A gallon a day is a lot of water to drink. I think in reality most people don't even drink a half gal. That's eight 8-1/2 oz glasses.
You must have a catheter running through your floor if you drink a gal. per day! How would you get any work done if you gotta stop every half hour to drain the leezard.

Anyway post some pics when you finish your set up.

True, that is a big tank and a lot of weight. I do drink about a gallon per day, but it's all I drink- I don't do soda or other beverages, except when I am home and toss down a few ales.

I'll get some pics posted when I do the project. Thanks for the tip on Northern Pool.
