You mean all they pay for is training? WOW. They don't pay to feed or cloth you? I have plenty of issues with Roehl and the trucking industry but the training you get at Roehl is better than any CDL mill where you pay 6-8k.

Again, you would have to talk to a recruiter. I don't have my HazMat. I only know a few drivers that do. As for hometime. They are pretty good at getting you home when you are supposed to be home. I have dome issues getting home because I live in Denver and freight going to Denver that pays what Roehl charges can be hard to find once and a while. If you live in the Midwest or East, you will have no problem getting home when you want to.

The benefit costs are listed on goroehl.com. My wife and I are satisfied with the benefits. I think almost any company charges pretty much the same for benefits. Some may charge less, but you will pay for it somewhere. They have two levels of health benefits. You can choose which is right for you and your family. I pay about $62.00 a week for my wife and I. That's the "cheap" plan. Hope this gives you an idea. The website and the recruiters would be your best resource to find out the REAL answers. Good Luck. Roehl's a good company.

What? This is one of the weirdest F%$king posts I have seen in a long time. If you want FREE housing while in CDL school, go to CR England. You can stay in their bunk rooms and enjoy the company of five other dirty freaks for two and half weeks. CR England has good training, but the company sucks after you graduate and are driving for them!

Skyviper - My sentiments exactly, I am happy to pay the $400 for my own room the entire three weeks of training. If I want to freeball it when I sleep its no nevermind to anyone else....lol!

I didn't pay for anything. They paid for the hotel, provided transportation to and from the terminal and provided for lunch and dinner. Heck they even flew me down to Ellenwood for my orientation. Then again I didn't go through their school. Hazmat is not required at Roehl unless they have changed it. What was the $100 application fee for? I don't ever recall paying that.

Ultra-they don't pay anything if you do not already have a CDL and you are attending their three week school.

Anybody with more money than you is rich . . . anybody with less is poor - it doesn't matter how much you have, it's all relative. In which case, if you have relatives like mine, then you don't have any money.
