old school verses new

    I have always liked the old school big grille trucks myself, 379 Pete, W900 KW but as of late I have been paying more attention to the 387 Pete. I like the sleek look and even though they dont have the big ss breathers and side mounted stacks I think they just look good.

    I agree. The 387 is the best looking of the aerodynamic trucks, but I have read about their excessive rattling and cab noise. A friend of mine drives one with Marten and when I'm talking to her on the phone I can hear rattling every time she hits a bump. She says it's the hood making all that racket.

    I used to drive a VNL670, and IMHO that truck was awesome. Great ride, quiet, turns as quick as you want, and I like the way they look. Granted they aren't everyone's cup of tea, and of course they will never hold resale like a W9 or 379/389, and it is pretty tight in one, compared to a FL condo.
