I will be completely honest I kind of started this thread as joke to show what a joke TQL is and they have told me I was banned a few times in the past but in all honesty they do not care and will continue using whatever carriers they find typically regardless of prior history, safety rating etc etc. For you to be actually blacklisted by them you must have really screwed them a few times.

Not true! Like I said in an earlier post on this thread if you report them to the credit reporting companies for not paying as agreed you, will be banned.

TQL recruits kids straight out of college, as does CH. A buddy's kid was recruited from Ohio University in Athens , OH. They put them through a boot camp, hook them up with a "senior broker" in TQL that gets a cut of the commission and turn them loose. The "senior broker" also keeps a boot on their neck to keep commissions up since his income relies on getting the highest cut they can from a load. As many have said, they'll screw you on detention, TONU's and of course cancel loads when it suits them.

Your best bet is to lay for them, wait until you have THEM in a bad position and extract a large amount of money from them when you have the chance. By the way, my buddy's son quit after about four months, he said it was total BS.

Biggest joke of a company! What is the big deal in sending a rate confirmation sheet with all of the pickup and del info??? Why treat carriers like 2 year olds? So annoying when you have to call in for "dispatch" so they can grab your number off of caller ID and call you every 10 minutes. I swear they act like the freight is more important than god, they must be getting $5/mile the way they act. And I would say 1 out of 100 loads pays decent but the rest is pure garbage that they expect you to haul for free. Don't even bother giving them a rate out of CA during produce season because they'll just ##### and moan about the "crazy" rate. They are by far the worst brokerage out there. Not only because of the rates or company "policy" about the driver having to call in but it's mainly the people that work there. They are rude, inconsiderate, inexperienced, and beyond greedy. They dont care about relationships at all, it's all about how many carriers they can screw over for a buck. We hauled one load for them into a convention center and agreed to $50/hr after 2hrs BEFORE the load was booked and guess what happened afterwards... "sorry but our policy is $25/hr after 4hrs". First of all we had an agreement and nobody in their right mind goes to the convention center for $25/hr. Everybody knows that, I bet if they sent Forward Air, Pilot air freight, Landstar, etc they would be getting their $50/hr if not more. They'd rather screw the little guys over all day long rather than build long lasting relationships to benefit both parties. I could seriously go on forever. I think I hate them with a passion.

One of the reasons, catrucker916, that they send you sheets with NO INFO is so that they can hurriedly try to work the phones and FIND A CHEAPER TRUCK THAN YOURS while you're on the way to get the load. When they find it, they call you and apologize for the "bad news," saying that the load is no longer good. I've had TQL do this to me so many times that it's downright criminal. This costs us money: Driving to pick up a load that they give to somebody else. If any companies or dispatchers have had this happen, they oughta band together and sue the hell out of TQL.

Me and a TQL agent had a very colorful arrangement over my miles... best part, this was in a Petro. After I hung up a driver goes,
The agent mouthed off to me when I said I wanted more miles, 23 mile run. Leave that for the locals!

Here is TQL cheap load and their cheap ##### reps. Loads from Albany GA to Salisbury NC 433 loaded (100 Deadhead mile) first of all these people usuall have no clue whatsoever about the load and secondly the person who is incharge of that load never brought to the phone (he is on the other line even though it is clearly noted "please ask for Frank ext 5261. The rate she says is $500 for 533 total miles. What is this BS.

I never hauled for TQL and never will, based on bad comments, not from one but hundreds of drivers that had any experience with them.
