Do have glasses? I dont know myself but there are alot of threads on here about them.....ill look into it.

 

Go to a local eye doctor and ask him to test you to DOT standard. I believe it is the same as the DMV. If you need to, get some corrective lenses.

That would be much better than getting to central, failing, and having to scramble or go home.

 

go get your eyes checked b4 the physical. no reason for surprises.

 

As the above have said, go get them checked. My rule is NEVER proceed in the face of uncertainty. Whenever I do that it seems like 80% of the time I get UNdesireable results.

However, the standard that must be met is you must have vision at least 20/40 in both eyes in order to pass the physical. That is with or without glasses. They call it 20/40 corrected in the physical. If you do a search, you can find on the internet, (believe on the DOT website) the actual form the Dr must fill out in PDF format available for download. In addition, you should be able to find a copy of a form to fill out, tape on your wall, stand 10(?) feet away, and check if you pass or not. One of the companies I was checking out makes that available from their website. I'm sorry, I don't remember which one. You might search for "self eye test" or something similar and you should hit paydirt. In addition, after you have spoken to your recruiter, you should receive an email outlining the extra requirements (I believe they're also listed here in TTR thread(s) ) that they check during the Work Well physical portion of the 1st day.

Just did it 2 days ago.
You read 2 lines with each eye and tell them what colors the two folders are, that is it!
Dont sweat it.
