Allowing someone to drive you while they are intoxicated and you are sober is a felony in some states. It's called aiding and abetting a dwi. I do want to work for Prime, but I would never let someone who has been drinking drive me anywhere. I don't know how someone would prove the driver was drunk if you were both somewhere on the road, but I would think if you got out a truck and was willing to get left by someone, it would bare weight with whomever was hearing your complaint. It's when issues are brought up days and weeks past the date that these action transpire that most people take issue with the account of what happened. Bottom line, as bad as someone wants to work somewhere, it's not worth committing a felony or worse, dYing for it.

Anyone who goes through the PSD program will see what ironpony and ord are saying is a load of ####. This is a big company and things happen daily that ORD and Ironpony will never hear about, and if they dont hear about it then it just didnt happen!

What happened to me at the pad happened at 8:30 at night there was 2 other instructors on the pad at the time. ORD and Ironpony would lead you to believe that the pad is so small that you can hear everything thats going on out there.

This is not the case the pad is a big parking lot big enough for 10 or more tractors pulling 53 foot trailers with enough room to maneuver with out being in each others way.

My class had 93 other students in it, it was the biggest class ever at prime so we got rushed through it. I was gaving no number to a FM or Security.
at 830 at night I parked the truck and walked away from the situation as that was my only option at that time. I went back to my room at the campus inn and got up the next morning to report what had happened.

But I will tell you now Ironpony and ORD arent as big around PRIME as they like to let on on these forums. They are out there moving running a gazillion miles a week and making money hand over fist yet, They are always at the pad and on here posting.

Dude, You started your post with a slander on Steve. How is that supposed to give you credibility? I have given you the benefit of the doubt, but you keep on and on. Both IP and ORD are doubting you because of how you just gave up and went home. You had other options. you could have patiently waited to get another instructor. You could have called 911. You could have walked to the building and found security, as they have cameras on the pad (and everywhere else). you could have been more engaged and known who your FM was. you could have walked up into the dispatch area and asked for a manager. Lesson learned. Find out if you can go back, get your CDL, tough it out like Rusty said and get to making money. This 5 pages is not getting you anywhere except angrier about the situation you are focused on. Move on, and get to being successful. There are alot of people telling you this in their own way. My experience on these threads, as is proof of the words written by everyone, is that people come here to help each other out.

First off I dont know how many times I have to say it but I did not slander Steve Larsen. My Instructor said that as he was driving drunk one night and it was DON he was talking about NOT Steve. My post was telling what had happened. Why can you not understand that?

NOT everyone has the option to wait PATIENTLY I have a family and bills that need to be taking care of first and for-most.
I quit the job I had to come to PRIME. I used what little money I had in the bank, to get my permit, a cell phone(required),100.00 PSD Fee, and to pay my bills up for the month.

When I went to PRIME I went all in.
Week 1 with my instructor I had to use the 200.00 to eat on, My Instructor had no fridge and told me I couldnt bring a cooler on his truck because of the condensation they create. So I had to eat at the truck stops he stopped at, and pay for my own showers at 12.00 a pop.
I also had to buy a fan as he had no apu and would not idle the truck try sleeping in the top bunk with the weather we had been having with no fan.

    Week 2
I was stuck in KANE PENNSYLVANIA while he was on home-time which lasted from saturday night to thursday morning.
The town of KANE has a population of 2400 and is a tourist attraction because of route 66 so the prices on everything was high.
There is no mcdonalds or such in KANE PA just mom and pop dinners. there was a save a lot that was just under 2 miles from the hotel that i did walk to and bought some things to eat while in the hotel.

Thursday we left and he informs me we are gonna head back to springfield to get my cdl so we can run 2 clocks he needs to make some money, and I agreed because I needed to start earning a paycheck too, but was worried about the skills part of the test because I hadnt backed the truck yet he explained thats what the pad is for and we would practice there on it all week.

So now I owe prime 3500 for the schooling + 400 for the 2 200.00 loans I had to take out.

When we checked into the campus inn I had 45.00 in my pocket this was monday night. I used that money to eat all week by buying things from the walmart up the street. come saturday I was broke, and was told friday to hang around till we find another instructor and you will have to go out for 2 more weeks.

I called my old place of employment saturday and asked if i could come back and explained what was happening they told me be ready to work monday morning so i "hung around" as i was told to do until sunday night. then I packed my things and came home.

I wish I could have hung around and had someone else pay my bills at home, I wish I could see the reasoning in taking out more loans at PRIME so I owe them even more money because of my instructors BS.

But im not angry like your'e trying to say I am. PRIME will go on, and I will go on. PRIME is a great company and Im in no way bad mouthing the PRIME Company, Just was telling that I ended up with a bad INSTRUCTOR.

I got stuck with a alcoholic #######. Who drunk every night and would drive the truck explaining to me its when he is at his best, and that PRIME HEAD of Saftey STEVE has to have his wife bring him to work because he isn't allowed to ever have a driven license because he has received so many dwis.

Ya the words you highlighted in red. I have poor grammar but the sentence before what you made red says he was telling me this while driving.
    Not my words, His.

Good lord, and now we know why you think I was wrong. Delusional much? You either have a reading problem, a comprehension problem, or a combination of both. I didn't write anything about Prime screwing anyone over regarding anything. I'll look forward to any further disageements, but you'll need to at least attempt to read what is written and stay on point.

Yeah, thats what I said. You will need to prove your case. And issues like this I would say are extremely isolated. But lets be clear about one thing. I don't know anything about a drunk trainer. I don't know that there was one. For all I know the whole thing is a fabrication. All I was responding to was how easy, or not, it might be to remedy a situation like this if it did occur.

I didn't mention any management personalities and take no position on whether or not any part of the original posters story is true.

No one missed anything but you. You weren't accused of being naive about anything.

Plain and simple, you ###### up by just going home.. You could have done multiple things before catchin the bus home. So you complain about bills at home, but now you have 3k+ to worry about that on top. If you were passionate Bout trucking you would of found a way, so stop making sob storries and get over it.
