Yeah its not bad still trying to figure out the best lanes and areas to run for freight. It feels good to be able to run when and where u wanna go. Being able to pick and choose loads no more heavy loads for me unless i need to get to a different area. Home time when I want money is great so far
Here's my week so far
666 miles=1157$ @ 1404 lbs
698 miles=1141$ @5892 lbs
992 miles=1318$ @33722 lbs
Total is 3616$ - 1135$ for fuel and another 800$ for truck and insurance payment which brings home about 1682$ after every thing is said and down
And this is next weeks runs already booked
14 miles= 214$ @ 39848lbs
67 miles= 210$ @ 39900lbs
1268 miles = 2006$ @ 8818lbs
437 miles = 660$ @ 12452lbs
Total 3099$ with a 34 reset next week if I need to take one if not ill just grab another load

Looks like you made the right move. Glad it's working out for you.

What year model truck did you get? KWhopper right?
-
Yeah 2007 t2000 at first I took a 2013 freighliner but I was told that's a 5 year no walk away lease so I opted for something that had an option of leasing for 1 to 3 years so I went with a 1 year lease

No issues with the truck so far? That's about the year range I would be looking at.

Apparently, they pay odometer miles, even if you drive 300 miles out of the way on a sightseeing trip

I would actually say that most companies do pay for hotel room and breakdown pay, except for the fleece purchase one's like CRE.
